What is Health and Wellness Coaching?

Health and wellness coaches help clients make positive and lasting changes to their health. The coach guides clients through the process of creating a vision for their health and well-being, developing a healthy mindset and healthy habits, and encouraging them every step of the way until they accomplish their goals.

 

How Can a Health and Wellness Coach Help?

Coaching is about having an accountability partner who will support and encourage you even when you feel ready to quit. A health/wellness coach provides support and inspiration to continue moving forward, even if you are dealing with a health-related issue. No matter what health conditions or ailments you may have, a health coach encourages clients to recognize that living a thriving life is about making healthy choices that positively impact their mental, physical, and emotional health.

 

Research shows that although most people have a strong desire to improve their health, only 1 out of 10 people can effectively change and maintain their health/wellness habits without the aid of an accountability partner. Types of Coaching We Offer

Wellness Coaching

10-30 hours

Health and wellness coaching is a skill set that empowers people to tap into their own inner source of motivation to restore and preserve health and well-being. Inspire Leadership health and wellness coaches are proficient in the following essential competencies:

  • Building rapport to inspire positive change

  • Assessing client readiness to make changes

  • Helping clients clarify personal health and wellness goals

  • Guiding people in health maintenance activities

  • Managing progress and accountability to help clients achieve health and fitness goals

Developmental Coaching
8-15 hours

Normally, this is for three to six months. The focus of the work is to identify and prioritize work/life balance needs. The client takes a self-assessment, works with the coach to identify deficiencies/needs, and prioritizes items to work on.
